Dana White states Ronda Rousey will combat Holly Holm following UFC president Dana White mentioned on ESPN Radio’s Mike & Mike Thursday that recently crowned women’s bantamweight champion Holly Holm create her first title defence in a rematch against Ronda Rousey. “I think that if we did not create the rematch, me and Lorenzo [Fertitta] should probably lose our promoters’ license. That battle’s going to happen. I really don’t know when, but that is the struggle that will happen.” White didn’t mention nevertheless when this fight could take place. With Rousey’s outside obligations to movies it’s not entirely clear when this potential rematch may be. Knight (13-1) has won eight consecutive struggles and is coming from a submission victory over Musa Khamanaev in Titan FC 35 in September. Kawajiri (34-8-2) as been around a 7-1 run because dropping down to featherweight at 2011, together with his only drawback coming to Clay Guida at UFC Fight Night 39 last year. The TUF 22 Finale takes place in the Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan on Dec. 11 and features a featherweight main affair between Frankie Edgar taking on Chad Mendes.
